Bonnie Ogburn Dupree

Bonnie Ogburn Dupree, born March 5, 1946, in Texarkana, Ark., passed from this life Feb. 10, 2018, at her home in Atlanta, Texas. She was 71 years old. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Mildred Ogburn; her stepmother, Gertie Ogburn and sister, Betty Boze. She is survived by her daughter, Danielle Dupree of Atlanta; brother-in-law Ray Boze of Bloomburg, Texas; nephews Caroll Boze and wife, Tammy, of Bloomburg; Harold Boze and wife, Elaine, of Doyline, La., and Raymond Boze; her best friend, Glenda Sullivan; and a number of other relatives. Bonnie's love of antiques and a desire to make a better life for her and her daughter led to a position managing Yesterdays Antique Mall in Atlanta. She eventually purchased the business, which she ran for decades before retiring. She was a methodist and was known for her great sense of humor. Bonnie's services will be under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home and will take place at the Methodist Church in Doddridge, Ark.  A visitation in her honor will be held Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, beginning at 1:30 p.m. and ending at 2:30 p.m. Her funeral services will begin immediately following her visitation. She will be buried at Mount Zion Cemetery in Doddridge at the close of the funeral service.
