Helen Marie Powell, 106, of Texarkana, Texas, died Feb. 10, 2018, at a local nursing home. Mrs. Powell was born Oct. 18, 1911, in Michigan. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Don and Gere Cox, of Fort Worth, Texas; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Don Cox and Julie Ann Brown; and three great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Jason Cox, Mallory Levy and Marlo Levy.
