JAMES TRANTHAM

ATLANTA, Texas—James V. Trantham, 79, of Fouke, Ark., died Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at his home. Mr. Trantham was born Jan. 18, 1939, in Hugo, Okla. He was a minister and member of Calvary Holiness Church, Fouke. He was preceded in death by his wife, LaVella Trantham. Survivors include one son, James Brian Trantham of Texarkana; three daughters and sons-in-law, Myra and Kenneth Heady of Fouke, Jamie and Chris Crosser of Clinton, Mo., and Angela and Mark Crosser of Mansfield, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Calvary Holiness Church, Fouke, with the Rev. Jim Freeman and Mike Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Services. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the church. Online registration is at hannerfuneralservice.com.
