MAGNOLIA, Ark.—Billy Gene Harris, 78, of Magnolia died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, in Magnolia. Mr. Harris was born March 26, 1939, in Columbia, Ark. He was a retired janitor with Albemarle Corporation, formerly employed in meat packing and a deacon, Sunday School Superintendent and member of Mount Calm Missionary Baptist Church, Magnolia. Survivors include a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, with the Revs. B.J. Harris and Otis Berry officiating. Burial will be in 23rd Psalms Cemetery under direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home. Visitation will be noon to 4:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
