NEW BOSTON, Texas—Helen Juanita Durham, 86, of Simms, Texas, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Durham was born July 15, 1931, in New Boston. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Durham Sr.; and one son, Ronnie Joe Durham. Survivors include one son, Melvin Durham Jr. of Simms; one daughter, Melda Sue Durham of Lubbock, Texas; one brother, James Taylor of Texarkana; one sister, Linda Taylor; two grandchildren, Sherry Nichols and Wayne Nichols of Odessa, Texas; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home with Shannon Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery, Simms, Texas.
