JOAN BLAND

Joan Cuba Bland, 57, of DeKalb, Texas, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Bland was born Sept. 1, 1960, in Big Lake, Texas. She was a retired secretary with Red River Army Depot and a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, DeKalb. Survivors include three sisters, Margaret Holt Green of Texarkana, Jean Cuba of DeKalb and Martha Holt of Houston. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Palmer officiating. Burial will be in DeKalb Cemetery under direction of Haynes Mortuary. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
