DE QUEEN, Ark.—Robert Newton Smith, 88, of Haworth, Okla., died Monday, Feb. 12, 2018. Mr. Smith was born May 15, 1929, in Boswell, Okla. He was retired from Sevier County Road Department, a rancher, a horse trader and a Korean War Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Helen Smith; three children and spouses, Robert Dale and Lavonna Wright of De Queen, Ark., Donna and Billy Dorsey of Haworth and Connie and Russ Crawford of Longview, Texas; one sister, Leota McKinney; two special nieces, Rhonda Lincoln of Haworth and Patsy Madley of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Cerro Gordo Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, Ark., with Ray Brown officiating. Cremation is under direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
