ERMA WITTERSTAETTER

Erma Nell Witterstaetter, 85, of Wake Village, Texas, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, in a local hospital. Mrs. Witterstaetter was born Jan. 5, 1933, in Texarkana, Texas. She was retired from Sears and a member of First Baptist Church, Wake Village. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ray and Mellissa Witterstaetter and Robert Witterstaetter of Texarkana; one daughter, Renee Witterstaetter of West Haven, Conn.; one stepdaughter, Carol Martin Hale of Shreveport, La.; two sisters, Sandra Steger of Belton, Texas, and Lana Murphy of Red Lick, Texas; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Revs. David Murphy and Scott Neathery officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
