Larry Launius

Larry Launius, age 75, of Doddridge, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 15, 2018 in a Tyler, Texas hospital. Larry was born February 27, 1942 in Manning, Arkansas to Cecil and Iva Mae Launius. He was retired from International Paper; and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with family; farming; hunting; and tinkering. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela McCreery; one sister, Pat Stringfellow; and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Pat Launius of Doddridge, Arkansas; two sons, Keith Launius and wife Paula of Cave Springs, Arkansas, Brian Launius and wife Angie of Texarkana, Texas; two brothers, Tom Launius of Fouke, Arkansas, Bob Launius of Camden, Arkansas; two sisters, Kate Carter of Monticello, Arkansas, Betty Wilkins of Sparkman, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Jessica Gray, Whitney Basinger, Kyla Mahoney, Haiden Tenpenny, Conor Launius, Hannah Launius; three great-grandchildren, Luke Gray, Everleigh Gray, Avery Tenpenny; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Monday, February 19, 2018 at Macedonia Baptist Church, Doddridge, Arkansas under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. George Goynes and Bro. Gary Terry officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery.
