FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.—Helen Murphy, 98, of Fayetteville died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, in Fayetteville. Mrs. Murphy was born Dec. 6, 1919. She was formerly employed with Blue Moon Cafe, former member of Oakland Baptist Church and a member of Northeast Baptist Church, Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Edward Murphy. Survivors include three children and two spouses, Wayne D. Murphy and Marilyn Hankins of Sulphur, La., Karen and Jerry Hudgeons of Foreman, Ark., and Margret Walker of Fayetteville; one sister, Velma Brown of Wisconsin; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Northeast Baptist Church under direction of Beard's Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturtday at the funeral home.
