JOE WARD

Joe E. Ward, 75, of Redwater, Texas, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018 in a local hospital. Mr. Ward was born May 9, 1942 in Clarksville, Texas. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of First Baptist Church, Leary, Texas, and a Vietnam War Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Tilly Ward. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ward of Redwater; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Steve and Dawn Ward and Bobby Ward of Carlsbad, N.M., and Joe D. and Stacey Ward of Atlanta, Texas; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Dave Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Redwater Cemetery.
