CEDRIC DAVIS

Cedric DeWayne Davis, 48, of Queen City, Texas, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at his home. Mr. Davis was born March 17, 1969, in Texarkana, Texas. He was a butcher and a member of Maud First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Jill Williams of Texarkana; one son, Cedric Davis Jr. of Texarkana; one daughter, Marquana Davis of Dallas; one sister, Demetria Rutherford of Texarkana; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Jason Rutherford, Brent and Beatrice Rutherford and Chris Sanders of Texarkana; one special aunt, Shirley Howarwd of New Boston, Texas; and one special uncle, Willie Sanders of Texarkana. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Reid officiating under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
