HOPE, Ark.—Electa Campbell Wiley, 99, of Nashville, Ark., died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, in a Nashville nursing home. Mrs. Wiley was born Jan. 14, 1919, in Hempstead County, Ark. She was a retired professor with Southern University-Shreveport, La., former teacher with Southern University-New Orleans, AM&N, and Rosston, Ark., and Clow, Ark., schools, a writer and a member of All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, Shreveport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wiley, in 1997. Survivors include two sons, Rob Wiley of Houston and Ben Wiley of Kerrville, Texas; five grandchildren, Shaun, Keith, Kenny, Murriel and Kathryn; and a number of other relatives. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under direction of Hicks Funeral Home.
