HOPE, Ark.—Norman B. Hugg, 79, of Hot Springs, Ark., died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, in Hot Springs. Mr. Hugg was born June 7, 1938, in Blevins, Ark. He was a retired teacher, basketball coach and counselor with Arkansas Public School System and a member of Bells Chapel of the Nazarene, Blevins. Survivors include his wife, Emogene McGalliard Hugg of Hot Springs; two daughters, Norma Jean Hugg Scott of Prattsville, Ark., and Darlene Angela Hugg McCauley of Poyen, Ark.; two brothers, Donald Hugg of Powderly, Texas, and Larry Dean Hugg of Blevins; two sisters, Carolyn Hines of Little Rock and Janice Salisbury of Blevins; three grandchildren, Eric Sullins, Terrie Nicole Samples and Patrisha Dockery; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Dennis Yarberry and the Rev. Wayne Bell officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Marlbrook Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Poyen Athletics School System, Poyen. Online registration is at brazzelfuneralhomes.com.
