THOMAS JONES

Thomas Edward Jones, 62, of Texarkana, Ark., died Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, at his home. Mr. Jones was born Aug. 18, 1955, in Texarkana. He was formerly employed with Red River Army Depot and an Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Penelope "Penney" Jones; and one daughter, Brittney Brooke Jones. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dale Robert and Ryoko Jones of Beaverton, Ore.; two brothers, Billy Jones and Jerry Jones of Texarkana; and two grandchildren, Mia Natalie Jones and Juno Elena Jones of Beaverton. Memorial services will be 3 p.m. today at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with Van Jones officiating. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, 800 Marshall St., Little Rock, AR 72202.
