NEW BOSTON, Texas—Jessica Jane Giffin, 28, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, at a Dallas, Texas, hospital. Mrs. Griffin was born July 27, 1989, in Chapel Hill, N.C. She was a homemaker and a member of South Texarkana Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Harley Griffin. Survivors include her husband, Eric Shane Griffin of Texarkana; one daughter, Krislynn Brooke Steele of Texarkana; her parents, Peggy Ann Steele of Nash, Texas, and Brian Keith Steele of Traskwood, Ark.; two sisters, Melissa Lamon of Genoa, Ark., and Nikki Steele of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, Maud, Texas, with the Rev. Kevin Meadows officiating. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery under direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Online registration is at batesrolffuneralhome.com.
