AILENE HORN

Ailene Miller Horn, 87, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Horn was born Sept. 5, 1930, in Haworth, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Edward Horn. Survivors include nine children, Nancy Sue Coker, Donna Redfearn and Jimmy Wise of Texarkana, Debbie Brainerd and Mark Brainerd of Shreveport, La., Helaine Dowd and Jimmy Burson of Stonewall, La., and Dr. Jon Horn and Lamar Roberts of Jefferson, Ga.; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Rev. David Kassos officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
