ASHDOWN, Ark.—Shirley Payne, 62, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, at a local hospital. Ms. Payne was born Jan. 9, 1955, in Fairbanks, Alaska. Survivors include one brother, David Payne of Ashdown; one sister, Terry Black of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Madden Funeral Home with Ronnie Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Ashdown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
