LINDEN, Texas—Charles Ernest Clayton Jr., 59, of Linden died Monday, Dec. 25, 2017. Mr. Clayton was born Aug. 29, 1958, in Dallas County, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Mary Clayton of Linden; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Terra Clayton of Linden and Jason and Wendy Clayton of Naples, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Audrey and Chad West of Hemphill, Texas; his father, Charles Clayton Sr.; two sisters, Sherry Sullivan and Jackie Johnson; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Cass County Cowboy Church.
