I.W. ROBERSON SR.

I.W. "Ike" Roberson Sr., 83, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, in a local hospital. Mr. Roberson was born Sept. 21, 1934, in Ogden, Ark. He was a deacon with Gold Point Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Roberson. Survivors include three daughters; Wanda Roberson-Randall of Waxahachie, Texas, and Gwendolyn Crockett and Shaterrica Roberson of Texarkana; four sons, Ronnie Wayne Roberson of Mansfield, Texas, and Alcus Lavell Roberson, I. W. Roberson Jr. and Gregory LaCharles Roberson of Texarkana; the mother of his children, Vera Roberson of Texarkana; and nine grandchildren. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Haynes Mortuary with the Rev. Reginald G. Reid Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
