HOPE, Ark.—Janie L. Gathright, 85, of Hope died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Gathright was born May 6, 1932, in McNab, Ark. She was a licensed beautician, a homemaker and a member of Hope Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Jack Gathright of Hope; one daughter and son-in-law, Janine and Richard Allen of Oakhaven, Ark.; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Nancy Gathright of Texarkana; one brother and sister-in-law, Guy and Cordelia Stone of Texarkana; three grandchildren, Madalyn Jane Gathright, Cavan Bilyeu and Elicia Bilyeu of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Hope Church of Christ, Hope, with Larry Culbreath officiating. Burial will be in Saratoga Cemetery, Saratoga, Ark., under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
