NASHVILLE, Ark.—Joy Boyea, 96, of Hot Springs, Ark., died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018. Mrs. Boyea was born March, 4 1921, in Nathan, Ark. She was a nurse's aid for Golden Age Nursing Home and a past president of the Disabled Veteran Auxillary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester E. Boyea; one daughter, Donna McCullough; two sons, Larry Boyea and Terry Boyea; and three grandchildren, Marty Hartness, Gregory Hartness and Shauna Boyea. Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Wincher of Hot Springs; five grandchildren, Ray Hartness, Timmy Hartness, Brenda Dixon, Harry Shaffer and Boog Wincher; 14 great-grandchildren; and seventeen great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Restland Memorial Park with Austin Sharp officiating. Burial is under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
