ROBERTA JOHNSON

Roberta Abell Johnson, 74, of Fouke, Ark., died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at a local hospital. Mrs. Johnson was born Jan. 30, 1943, in Hope, Ark. She retired as a waitress from El Chico and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Johnson. Survivors include her husband, Freddie Johnson of Fouke; three daughters, Daphne Williford of Texarkana, Ark., April Waggoner of Fouke and Heather Myers of New Boston, Texas; three sons, Robert Story Jr. and Gary Story of Fouke and Nat Johnson of Texarkana, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Rev. James Ross officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Hope.
