Jerry Pate

Jerry Roger Pate, 62, of Texarkana, TX, died Sunday, January 7, 2018, peacefully at his home. He was born November 30, 1955, in Cass, TX. He was a Baptist and was an automotive machinist for Lawley Machine Shop. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Roberta Sprayberry Pate, and a brother, Jeff Yates. He is survived by his wife, Debra Pate; one son and daughter-in-law, Derek and Brittany Pate; one daughter and son-in-law, Heather and William Simpson; three grandchildren, Ava Simpson, Lila June Simpson, and Gavin Pate; one brother and sister-in-law, Jackie and Debbie Pate; one brother-in-law, David Falgout and wife, Wanda; one sister-in-law, Connie Falgout; his best friends, Scott and Holly Giles; and a number of other relatives. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas Chapel with the Rev. Cranford Graves officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.
