JEMILEA GOLDEN
NEW BOSTON, Texas—Jemilea D. Golden, 88, of Bloomburg, Texas, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at a nursing home.
Mrs. Golden was born March 1, 1929, in Liberty, Texas. She was retired from Red River Army Depot and a member of Maranatha Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Eason; and two sons, Virgil Golden and David Golden.
Survivors include one son, Robert Golden of Bloomburg; three daughters, Brenda Sharp of Simms, Texas, Patricia Myers of Quinland, Texas, and Don Ruth of Hummelstown, Pa.; two sisters, Joyce Wallace of Iota, La., and Wilma Spurlock of Rockwall, Texas; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home with Gerald Wagstaff officiating. Burial will be in Red Bayou Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
