Donald Edmond Warrington, age 77, of Maud, Texas, died Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in a Plano, Texas hospital. Mr. Warrington was born October 7, 1940 in Cass County, Texas. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, the owner of Don Warrington's Repair Service and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by one son, Clay Warrington; his parents, John A. and Gladys Warrington; and two sisters, Maurine Glass and Johnnie Womack. Survivors include his wife, Gail Warrington of Maud; one daughter and son-in-law, Mechille and Jeff Seymour of Waco, Texas; one grandson, Gavin Garrett of Maud; one granddaughter and her husband, Amanda and Corey Overbeck of Maud; and one great-granddaughter, Rhealynn Overbeck of Maud. Other survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Joe and June Warrington of Texarkana; two sisters, Glenda Thomas of Texarkana and Betty Healan and her husband, Sammy of Queen City, Texas; one brother-in-law and his wife, Jimmy and Linda Riggins of Bellvue, Washington; one sister-in-law, and her husband, Cathy and Jimmy Whitecotton of Wylie, Texas and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Jones officiating. Private burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery, Maud, Texas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to Center Ridge Cemetery, P.O. Box 611, Maud, Texas 75567.
