Garvin Ray Williams

Garvin Ray Williams, age 69, of Ore City, Texas, died Saturday, January 6, 2018 at his home. Mr. Williams was born January 26, 1948 in Texarkana, Texas. He was a retired Industrial sales representative for Rob Roy Industries in Gilmer, Texas. He was a graduate of Liberty Eylau High School (Class of 1966). He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. and a Christian. He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Carol Bohon Williams, and his parents, Gawain and Fern Williams. Garvin enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was also an avid fisherman and hunter. He is survived by one daughter: Darla Lester and her husband Kevin of Genoa, Arkansas; his step-mother: Margaret Simpson Williams of Texarkana, Texas; his two granddaughters: Marly Meunier of Phoenix, Arizona; Ainsley Lester of Genoa, Arkansas; one brother and sister-in-law: Ronald and Cindy Williams of Queen City, Texas; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Janice and Mike McKee of Texarkana, Texas; Reva and Bill Graf of Queen City, Texas; Lorie and Kevin Lansford of Queen City, Texas; stepbrothers, sisters, and daughters.
