QUEENIE HAMILTON

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Queenie Hamilton, 95, of Pittsburg, Texas, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018. Mrs. Hamilton was born July 27, 1922, in Morris County, Texas. She was retired from Pittsburg Medical Center and a choir member at Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Hamilton. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Pamela Hamilton and Glenda and Bobby Jackson of Dallas; one son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Kim Hamilton of Pittsburg; one sister, Sedelia Hamilton of Cason, Texas; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Anthony, Jamal, Sr. and Ketrina; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be noon Saturday at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Cason. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
