Robert E. Cobb

Robert E. Cobb, age 92 of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018. Mr. Cobb was born October 31, 1925 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Hiram Elnathan and Luella Mary Cobb. He was a member of Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Magnolia, AR as well as a member of the Knight of Columbus, VFW, and the American Legion. Mr. Cobb was preceded in death by his parents; seven sisters, Inez Jahnke, Irene Flynn, Gertrude Hill, Dorothy Cobb, Jane Olson, Katherine Helm, and Luella Heyman; and two brothers, Richard Cobb and Jerome Cobb. He is survived by his wife, Delphine Elizabeth Lanners Cobb of Stamps, AR; one daughter, Susan Burke and husband, Millard also of Stamps; five sons, Michael Cobb of Bishop, CA; Mark Cobb and wife, Sheri of Palm Desert, CA; Gregory Cobb of Santa Ana, CA; Kevin Cobb and wife, Cindy of Yreka, CA; and John Cobb and wife, Karine of Lexington, SC; six grandsons, Garrison Parkin of Lake Forest, CA; Steven Parkin of The Woodlands, TX; Jared Cobb of Crestline, CA; Daniel Cobb of San Juan Capistrano, CA; Marshall Cobb of Yreka, CA; and Lucas Cobb of West Point, NY; five granddaughters, Shannon Miller of Sherwood, OR; Lauren Cobb of Huntington Beach, CA; Cari Sue Cobb of Montague, CA; Megan Cobb of Santa Ana, CA; and Malina Cobb of Lexington, SC; ten great grandsons and one great granddaughter. Honoring Mr. Cobb as pallbearers will be, Mike Cobb, Mark Cobb, Greg Cobb, Kevin Cobb, John Cobb, and Millard Burke. Honorary pallbearers are, Garrison Parkin, Steve Parkin, Max Parkin, and Jack Parkin. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Magnolia, AR with Father Robert Cigainero and Bro. Mike Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Buckner, AR under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR.
