ATLANTA, Texas—Sharon Waits Shirley, 58, of Atlanta died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, in a Texarkana, Texas, hospital. Mrs. Shirley was born, Feb. 19, 1959, in Vivian, La. She was a cook at Piney Lodge Hotel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Shirley. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Frankie Mixon of Doyline, La., and Chassidy and Lewis Weemes of Atlanta; three brothers, Kenny Sullivan, Clifford Dotson and Ricky Dotson; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives.
