JUANITA LUMMUS

Juanita Williams Lummus, 96, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, at a local nursing home. Mrs. Lummus was born Aug. 11, 1921, in Oakdale, La. She was a member of County Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Emmett Williams and Travis Lummus. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Karmen Williams of Little Rock, Ark., David and Donna Williams of Texarkana and Gary and Susan Williams of Maumelle, Ark.; four grandchildren, Jan Parks of Bryant, Ark., Emily Williams of Maumelle, Deidre Wilson of Iola, Kan., and Jay Williams of Sherwood, Ark.; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane, with Dr. Roger Copeland officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.
