LUCILLIE SURMAN

Lucillie Surman, 87, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Surman was born Nov. 23, 1930, in Foreman, Ark. She was a homemaker, a farmer and a member of Charity Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvis Surman. Survivors include four sons, James Surman, Roy Surman, Leeroy Surman and Billy Ray Surman of Texarkana; four daughters, Emma Surman, Darlene Surman and Evelyn Surman of Texarkana and Gloria Clark of Atlanta, Ga.; one special granddaughter, Carnetta Surman; one special niece, Mona Noiel; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Richardson Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Alfred Jernigan officiating. Burial will be in Red Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
