De QUEEN, Ark.—Ernest Leonard Staggs, 80, of De Queen died Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mr. Staggs was born June 23, 1937, in Horatio, Ark. He was a car dealer, a member of Horatio Assembly of God Church and an Army veteran. Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Juanita Staggs of Horatio and Donald and Laura Staggs of Miami, Okla.; one sister and brother-in-law, Evelyne and James Archer of Healdton, Okla.; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Chandler Funeral Home with John Gutierres officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Old Center Cemetery. Online registration is at chandlerfuneral.com.
