FRANKLIN KING

HOPE, Ark.—Franklin W. King, 78, of Hope died Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at a local nursing home. Mr. King was born Jan. 3, 1940, in Cooter, Mo. He was a retired truck driver with Meyers Bakery.He also was a Baptist and a Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Maxine Rose Burns King of Hope; three sons, Danny Franklin King, John William King and Don Edward King of Hope; one daughter, Sherry Lawson of Texarkana, Ark.; one sister, Linda Daniels of Kenneth, Mo.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Mitchell Cemetery, Cooter. Burial will be under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
