HOPE, Ark.—Jo Burnett, 81, of McCaskill, Ark., died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Burnett was born Sept. 1, 1936, in McCaskill. She retired as office secretary from Nest Fresh and was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Burnett; and one grandson, William "Trey" Varner. Survivors include one son, Robert Burnett of McCaskill; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Donna Burnett and Sandy and Bill Varner of Texarkana, Ark., and Mary Jo and Danny Spicer and Cathy and Wayne Morrow of McCaskill; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Friendship United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gene Ross and Paul Noesser officiating. Private burial will be under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
