BRENDA PETTIS

Brenda "Bebe" Pettis, 66, of Texarkana, Ark., died Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at a local nursing home. Mrs. Pettis was born Nov. 20, 1951, in Dallas. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Pettis. Survivors include three children and spouses, Michelle Bearden and James Mattson, Roy and Melody Bearden and Sera and Michael McCorkle of Texarkana; three brothers, Wayne Brashear and Ted Brashear Jr., of Benbrook, Texas, and John Brashear of Midlothian, Texas; one sister, Linda Sloss, of Comanche, Okla.; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 3:30 p.m. Friday at Corner Pointe Assembly of God Church. Arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home, Moores Lane.
