HOPE, Ark.—Reta E. Anderson, 97, of Hope died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, in Hope, Ark. Mrs. Anderson was born July 11, 1920, in Hempstead County, Ark. She was a retired beautician with Lois' Beauty Shop and a member of Garrett Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, T.G. "Chubby" Anderson. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Cherry and David Stewart of Hope; one brother-in-law, Kelson Foster of Camden, Ark.; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Dr. Jason G. and Robyn Stewart of North Little Rock; three great-grandchildren, Bailey Stewart, Whitney Stewart and Mallory Stewart; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church with Cliff Johnson and the Rev. Kathleen Hignight officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery under direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
