CATHY PAXTON

Cathy Yvonne Paxton, 56, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018. Ms. Paxton was born Aug. 2, 1961. She was a CNA and a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Derrick Sanders and Errick Sanders of Texarkana; one daughter, Turkessa Sanders of San Saba, Texas; her parents, Ollie Faye Yarber Sanders and Joe Louis Sanders of New Boston, Texas; four brothers, James Yarbrough of Lawton, Okla., Rickey Sanders of New Boston, Terry Sanders of Texarkana and Brock Sanders of Germany; four sisters, Debra Smith Miller of Texarkana, Gwendolyn Alexander of New Boston, Tammie Johnson of Liberty Eylau, Texas, and Rhonda Paxton; nine grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Smith officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
