F.C. DAVIS

F.C. Davis, 90, of Douglassville, Texas, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, in a Plano, Texas, hospital. Mr. Davis was born March 29, 1927. Survivors include his spouse, Ceomie Davis of Douglasville; three daughters and one son-in-law, Sandra Davies and Brenda and Gary Walker of McKinney, Texas, and Cynthia Gulley of Plano; one brother, Bennie Nickleberry of Los Angeles; two sisters, Rheumania Jordan and Shirley O'Quinn of Los Angeles; one special cousin, Mildred Evans of Lancaster, Texas; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one aunt. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Tabernacle Church, Queen City, Texas, with Shirley Smith and Bishop Stephen Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of Haynes Mortuary. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.
