JOHN SPIVEY

ATLANTA, Texas—John Spivey, 70, of Cass, Texas, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, in a Texarkana, Texas, hospital. Mr. Spivey was born March 25, 1947, in Cass. He was retired from Oklahoma Installation Co. and a member of Cass Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Nikki Spivey of Cass; eight children, Anita Burchett, Michelle Spivey and Johna Spivey of Cass, Gina McDaniel of Queen City, Texas, Rose Hulse of Ashdown, Ark., and Chrystine Ketchum, Chris Alfinito and Michael Alfinito of New York; three sisters, Myrel Ham, Shelia Baugus and Dianne Wood of Cass; three brothers, Larry Spivey and Terry Spivey of Texarkana and Jim Spivey of Cass; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Cass Baptist Church with Jason York officiating. Burial will be in Cass Cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
