GLADYS BODINE

ATLANTA, Texas—Gladys L. Mulvaney Bodine, 91, of Atlanta died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at a local nursing home. Mrs. Bodine was born May 21, 1926, in Omega, Ill. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, where she volunteered in the kitchen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon R. Bodine; and two children, Patricia A. Beard and Kenneth E. Beard. Survivors include one daughter, Janet Beard Worley of Overland Park, Kan.; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Wanda Beard of Pleasanton, Texas; 14 grandchildren, including Austin Eugene Beard of Atlanta; 18 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hanner Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
