LOIS HAWTHORNE
HOPE, Ark.—Lois E. Hawthorne, 89, of Fulton, Ark., died Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, in Texarkana, Texas.
Mrs. Hawthorne was born Oct. 10, 1928, in Fulton. She was co-founder and manager of Gas Light Night Club in Hope, Ark., and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Hawthorne; and one son, Charles Hawthorne.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and JoAnn Hawthorne of Fulton; two daughters and one son-in-law, Linda Hawthorne Lee and Melissa and Rodney Hawthorne of Fulton; two grandchildren, Brandon Hawthorne of Fulton and Robin Hawthorne of Texarkana, Ark.; two great-grandchildren, Danté and Jackson; one special friend, Charlie Bostian of Fulton; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Larry Byers officiating. Burial will be in Columbus Cemetery, Columbus, Ark.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
