NEW BOSTON, Texas—Thelma Jaunita Harrell, 88, of New Boston died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at a local hospital. Mrs. Harrell was born July 25, 1929 in DeKalb, Texas. She was retired from Texas Instruments and a member of Old Salem Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Kenneth Harrell Sr; and one son, William Clifton Allen. Survivors include three sons, James Harrell, Roger Allen and Donald Harrell Jr. of New Boston, Texas; one brother, James Hubbs of Forney, Texas; seven grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bates Rolf Funeral Home with Steve Minter officiating. Burial will be in Ringwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
