MICHAEL FLOWERS

Michael Ray Flowers, 68, of Maud, Texas, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, at his home. Mr. Flowers was born Oct. 9, 1949, in Texarkana, Texas. He was retired brick mason and a Vietnam War Marine veteran. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Flowers of Maud; two daughters, Kathy Woodraska of Maud, and Stacy Johnston of Plain Dealing, La.; one son, Jeremy Higginbotham of Texarkana; five grandchildren, Justin Crye, Cole Crye, Preston Higginbotham, Jayden Johnston and Gary Woodraska; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Center Ridge Cemetery, Maud, with the Rev. Jerry Jones officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
