CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Jimmy Cole Meador, 62, of Avery, Texas, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Meador was born Oct. 22, 1955, in Clarksville. She was a nurse with Red River General Hospital, Clarksville, and Ponderosa Nursing Home, DeKalb, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddy Joe Meador. Survivors include one son, Brian Meador of Avery; one daughter, Tracey Lambert of Avery; her parents, W.C. and Carrie Cole of Clarksville; one sister, Dani Allen of Carrollton, Texas; four brothers, Wade Cole of Georgetown, Texas, Kelly Cole of Hendersonville, Tenn., Duke Cole of Dallas and Chance Cole of Union, Ky.; four grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Clarksville Funeral Home with the Rev. Deanie Lambert and Chance Cole officiating. Burial will be in Avery Cemetery.
