DeKALB, Texas—Juanita Lewis Sweatman, 67, of De Queen, Ark., died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Mrs. Sweatman was born Jan. 1, 1951, in Avery, Texas. She was a former School Cafeteria Dietician for Aubrey ISD and a member of First Baptist Church, Aubrey, Texas. Survivors include her husband, Troy Jefferson Sweatman Jr. of De Queen; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Kimberly Lewis of Pilot Point, Texas, and Jeff Sweatman of De Queen; one brother, Harold Lewis of Avery; five grandchildren, Sarah Jackson and Kelsey Lewis of Pilot Point, Texas, John W. Lewis of Aubrey, Texas, Timothy Sweatman of De Queen and Cheyenne Sweatman of Denton, Texas; three great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Bates Family Funeral Home with Bobby Wages officiating. Burial will be in Avery Cemetery. Online registration is at batesfamilyfuneralhome.com.
