DE QUEEN, Ark.—Ofelia Angeles, 80, of De Queen, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, in De Queen. Mrs. Angeles was born Aug. 11, 1937, in Mexico. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Barbara's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Prospero Angeles; and three children. Survivors include four sons, Juan Angeles of Mexico and Nicolas Angeles, Pedro Angeles and Dario Angeles of De Queen; five daughters, Irene Moreno of Hidalgo, Mexico, Amanda Gomez and Julia Moreno of De Queen, Maricela Ordonez of Mexico and Veronica Lopez of Hope, Ark.; one brother, Pompeyo Acosta of Hidalgo; one sister, Simona Romero Lopez of Hidalgo; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Mass services will be 10 a.m. today at St. Barbara's Catholic Church, De Queen. Burial will be in Redmen Cemetery under direction of Chandler Funeral Home.
