Charles Anthony Dawson, 47, of Queen City, Texas, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, at his home. Mr. Dawson was born July 28, 1970, in Atlanta, Texas. Survivors include his parents, Mary and John Dawson of Queen City; three brothers, Herman Jones, Thurman Jones and Robert Jones of Queen City; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Evelyn Walls, Mutrissie and Tyrone Gaston, Lesa Jones and Joanetta Dawson of Queen City; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Golden Gate Baptist Church, Domino, Texas, with the Rev. Jonathan Stanmore officiating. Burial will be in Lanark Cemetery under direction of Haynes Mortuary.
