DONALD HAMILTON SR.

SILSBEE, Texas—Donald Edison Hamilton Sr., 95, of Silsbee died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018. Mr. Hamilton was born Sept. 7, 1922, in Harrington, Kan. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Johnette Hamilton; and two great-grandsons, Brandon Fults and Jason Tomplait. Survivors include one son, Don Hamilton; two siblings, Doris Irons and David Hamilton; seven grandchildren, Donna Fults, Pam Tomplait, Jody Hamilton, Angie Cole, Chris Hamilton, Debra Lindsey and David Lindsey; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Episcopal Church, Silsbee, with the Rev. John Johnson officiating. Burial will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
