JOHN TATE

John Wilson Tate, 97, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at his home. Mr. Tate was born Feb. 28, 1920, in Grady County, Okla. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of Trinity Evangelical Presbyterian Church and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Olis Tate. Survivors include his wife, Janet Tate of Texarkana; one son, John W. Tate Jr. of Dallas; and one stepson, Don W. Westerman of Genoa, Ark.
